Theme Library and templates
Start from one of 12 templates, keep up to 10 themes, and choose which one is live in your app.
In this article
Theme Library holds your app’s designs. One theme is live in your app; the others wait until you publish them. You can keep up to 10 themes.
Add a template
- Open Theme Library.
- Filter by category (Luxury, Beauty, Electronics, Home, Sports, General), and click Preview to see a template.
- Click Add to theme library.
- If you already have a design, choose how to use it:
- Add with the template’s layout: the template’s sections, filled with your collections, plus its tabs and a menu built from your catalog.
- Use my content: your current sections, menu and pages, with the template’s colours, fonts and layouts.
The template’s photos are copied to your image library and used in its banners. Product images always come from your store. The new theme is added to your library, and your live app doesn’t change.
Which templates your plan includes
| Plan | Templates |
|---|---|
| All plans | Atelier, Bloom, Volt, Hearth, Pulse and Market |
| Scale and up | All 12, adding Noir, Serum, Circuit, Nordic, Stride and Bazaar |
Templates your plan doesn’t include show Upgrade to use.
Tip: In Design Studio, the Templates view applies a template’s colours, fonts and layouts to the theme you’re editing and keeps your content. It doesn’t copy photos.
Manage your themes
Your current theme is at the top, marked Current theme. Its ⋯ menu has Rename, Duplicate, Version history and Preview on your phone. Other themes can also be deleted.
- Customize opens a theme in Design Studio.
- Publish makes a theme the live one. It replaces your current theme the next time customers open the app. Your previous theme stays in the library.
- Create with AI designs a new theme from your catalog. See Design your app with the AI App Generator.
If your library is full, you’ll see “Your theme library is full (10 themes)”. Delete a theme to add another.
Restore an earlier version
Open a theme’s ⋯ menu and choose Version history.
- Restore puts that version into the draft. Your live app doesn’t change until you publish.
- Make live publishes that version straight away.
Versions are saved when you publish, when you choose Save as a version in Design Studio, and when the AI changes your design.
Use your eBazoo Demo design
If we built a demo of your store before you installed, it shows as Your eBazoo Demo design. Click Add to theme library and choose:
- Demo look on my content: the demo’s colours, fonts, styles and banners, with your other sections, menu and pages kept.
- Whole demo design: the entire demo.
It’s added as a theme called “eBazoo Demo”. Nothing changes in your live app until you publish.
